How to bet tonight’s NFC South Showdown: Bucs @ Falcons

NFC South showdown that is a virtual pick ‘em. The Falcons are a slight home favorite at -1.5. The total points are set at 43.5.

Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook:

Tampa Bay +1.5 (-105)

Atlanta -1.5 (-115)

Tampa Bay ML (+110)

Atlanta ML (-130)

O43.5 (-110)

U43.5 (-110)

The Bucs were off to a hot start until they ran into the Broncos’ defense in Week 3. I won’t call that loss a fluke but it was definitely out of character. This Bucs team is legit. Outside of the Broncos game the Bucs are 3-0 with a +38 point differential over high power offenses in the Eagles, Lions and Commanders.

Despite the short week, road teams have gone 30-31 SU and 38-22-1 ATS in TNF contests from 2019 through the 2023 regular season.

The Bucs have covered the spread in 8 of their last 11 games. The Falcons are 2-10 against the spread in their last 12 games as favorites and 3-7 straight up in their last 10 as favorites.

Here’s how I see it playing out

The Bucs are legit contenders if Baker Mayfield continues to play the way he is. The Falcons don’t pose much of a true threat in my opinion and this gives the Bucs an opportunity to confirm their position in the NFC South.

Liv’s Pick: Tampa Bay ML
